Product information

  • Are your pills generic or brand-name medicines?

All of our medicines are the generic counterparts of brand-name medicines whose patents have expired. We do not sell counterfeit copies of medicines which are still protected by patent.
  • What's the difference between brand-name drugs and generics?

The two biggest differences are the name and the price. When a manufacturer first develops a drug, they patent it and sell it under a brand name. After the patent expires, other companies are allowed to sell the same medicine - but they still aren't allowed to use the original company's brand name, so they just use the official name of the chemical instead.
  • Why are generic pills so much cheaper?

New medicines tend to be expensive for a very good reason... Discovering them, and then testing them to prove that they are safe, can cost a small fortune. Eventually, though, other pharmaceutical companies (often in India) are permitted to manufacture the same medicine - without having to pay to do the same research and testing over again. (They no longer have to pay for lots of TV advertising to let consumers know about the drug, either, which is another big savings.)
  • The pills I bought from you don't look like the brand-name pills I used to get! Why are they a different color and shape, and why is there a different name printed on the pills?

Even though the patent on the medicine has run out, the copyright on the brand name has not, so only the original manufacturer is allowed to sell the medicine under their trade name. In fact, even the appearance of the pills is often trademarked. So, by law, other pharmaceutical companies must change not only the brand name they call the medicine but the pill's appearance. The active ingredients in the generic medicines, however, are exactly the same as in their brand-name counterparts.
  • Are the pills that you sell FDA-approved?

Our medications are manufactured by a pharmaceutical company located in India, which is of course licensed and regulated by that country. Thus, each of our medicines is approved by the Indian FDA as meeting all safety requirements. The process is very similar to the U.S. process - even down to the information leaflet that is put inside each package to describe how to use the product.
  • What's the difference between "Regular" and "Soft" tabs?

Regular tablets dissolve in your stomach, but soft tabs are designed to dissolve under your tongue, so the medicine can reach your bloodstream faster - which means you feel the effects faster. Also, drinking alcohol or eating fatty foods can interfere with your stomach's ability to digest the regular tablets - but since the soft tabs dissolve in your mouth, you no longer need to make sure to avoiding alcohol or certain types of food when taking your medicine in the soft tab form.
  • Do I need to show you a prescription from my doctor?

No, we don't need to see a prescription, but for your own safety, you still need to consult your doctor before ordering - to be sure that there are no reasons why you should not take the medication, and to be sure that you understand any other medical issues that you should know about.

Ordering and Shipping

  • Is it safe to order online from your website?

Your credit card information will be encrypted (using the standard SSL, or "secure socket layer", encryption) before our secure shopping cart page transmits it to us. (If you look at the URL for our secure webpage, you will see that it begins with https://, rather than the usual http://, to show that it is a secure page, and Internet Explorer will also show a picture of a lock in the bottom right corner of the window.)
  • Where do your pills come from?

Our pills are manufactured by a pharmaceutical company located in India, and they are shipped directly from India.
  • How will you ship my order, and in what kind of package?

Your pills will come in blister packs containing 10 pills each. If you order more than 60 pills, we will mail your order in more than one envelope (and each envelope will contain a copy of the guidelines on how to take the medicine). To protect your privacy, your order will be sent in a package that looks just like ordinary mail, and the outside of the envelope will not indicate the contents.
  • What shipping methods do you offer?

Your shipment can be sent via either standard airmail or a shipping service that lets you track your package.
  • Do you ship to my country?

    Yes, we offer worldwide shipping.
  • Do you have an overnight delivery option?

Unfortunately, overnight delivery isn't possible because your shipment will have to go through customs (twice, when it leaves India and when they enter your country).
  • What if my package is damaged or doesn't arrive?

You can insure your package to protect it against loss by postal service or damage during shipping. By ordering insurance, we can provide the security you need when you are expecting your package through the mail. The cost of insurance is $4.95. This option is available in the order form. If you order insurance, your product will be reshipped without any additional cost in case of loss or damage. If you do not wish to get insurance for your package, the reshipment of your order will cost additional amount for shipping. If there is a problem with your shipment, just notify our customer support team. We will try our best to solve the problem right away.
  • How will my personal information be used?

We will e-mail you an order confirmation (including all of the details of your order) a few minutes after you place it, and a member of our staff will then telephone you to confirm your order... so please double-check both the e-mail address and the telephone number that you give us to make sure that they are correct!
