About Levitra

Levitra is an erectile dysfunction (ED) drug, which helps the blood to flow to the penis to achieve and maintain an erection during sexual stimulation.

Common Facts

Levitra works only when you feel sexual excitement. It does not work if arousal is absent and it does not increase sexual desire. Levitra may show effect for many men with a broad range of conditions, including high cholesterol. It should not be used by women.

Directions

Recommended dose of Levitra ranges from 5 to 20 miligrams, depending on the drug’s effect, your condition and your age. It is taken orally in 1 hour before sexual activity with or without food. Do not take Levitra more than 1 time per day.
Consult your doctor before you start, stop or change using Levitra.
In case of overdose, seek for medical attention right away.
Store Levitra at a room temperature in a tightly-closed container. Keep it away from heat and light. Do not store it between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C).

Side Effects

Side effects may be expressed as: indigestion, flu-like symptoms, flushing, headache, runny nose, sinus inflammation.
These are not all side effects, which may happen after taking Levitra. If you feel that your condition has worsened after taking Levitra, please, contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Do not take Levitra if:

  • You are taking any nitrate-based drug, blood pressure and prostate drugs or other medications, which are not allowed to be combined with Levitra by your doctor;
  • Levitra gives you an allergic reaction;
  • You have heart problems, which could make your sexual activity dangerous.
