About Lioresal
Lioresal is usually prescribed for people, who suffer from muscle spasms after spinal cord injuries or other causes. It works by relaxing muscles, thus reducing the frequency and severity of muscle spasms.
Common Facts
Do not suddenly stop taking Lioresal. If you do so, you may experience withdrawal symptoms, including high fever, confusion, changes in mental status, severe increase in muscle stiffness and death. If you experience any of the above symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.
Directions
Take Lioresal exactly as directed by your doctor. For exact dosing, please, read the label and a Medical Guide, which come together with the medicine.
It is recommended to take Lioresal by mouth, with food, so it doesn’t upset your stomach, and with a full glass of water.
Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Never take 2 doses at once.
Do not break, crush or chew the Lioresal tablet.
Do not take more tablets, than prescribed by the doctor, at a time. In case of overdose, seek for the medical attention immediately.
Store Lioresal in a tightly closed container, at a room temperature, avoiding heat, moisture and light.

Side Effects
